Description

The module is designed through comparative analysis in a seminar and a workshop format, examples of collaborative procurement that have now emerged in the industry and are being driven by large, corporate clients and other industry initiatives. The collaborative forms of procurement that will be explored include: partnering, alliancing, the ACA PPC 2000 contract, NEC Partnering contract, NHS Estates procure 21, PFI (Private Finance Initiative), Supply Chain Managment and collaboration, MoD Prime Contracting. This module will also discuss dispute resolution mechanisms inherent within these procurement systems: Adjudication, Arbitration, Mediation.
